- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Design Mettle In-Home Consultations: ~ Initial In-Home Consultation: $150 fee for 1 hour of my consultative advice at our first meeting in your home. This initial consultation will include a collaborative discussion to determine scope of design work and method of operation; as well as provide you with general advice to your most pressing design dilemmas. ~ Subsequent Consultations: $200 fee for every subsequent hour wherein I am doing work on your behalf, such as sourcing products, creating design presentations & shopping lists, and consulting with you via email, phone or in person. Design Mettle Room Plan: ~ Starting at $1,250 per room. Based on mutual verbal and written agreements, I create a design plan and provide a pdf tool you can use to complete your room transformation(s). Applicable spaces are: Living, Dining, Family, & Play Rooms, Bedrooms, and Home Offices. Included in the agreed-upon flat fee: design work/consultations, space & color palette planning, specification of furniture, lighting, rugs, window treatments, art and decorative objects, shopping/source lists, layout/placement plan(s), advice on product placement, and one 1-hour personalized styling appointment. (You are responsible for all fees associated with delivery & assembly of products.) Design Mettle Closet Plan: Starting at $750/Closet Includes: In-Home Organization Consultation(s) determining space/budget/time planning; wardrobe plan with lighting, parts list with layout drawings (you take care of all assembly & installation); and last but not least, a one hour personalized styling appointment to complete the closet makeover. [Note: I love using the Ikea PAX system, so if you like getting the most customizable bang for your buck, this is the way to go! That said, there's nothing stopping us from using other vendors for custom systems. It all depends on your taste and budget, so it's your choice!] Design Mettle Hourly Work: Starting at $200 per hour based on work scope. Design Mettle Kitchen and Bath Remodels: Service for both design and project management available. Please inquire.

First and foremost, I'll listen... You've been facing some type of design dilemma in your home and my mission is to help you resolve it. So tell me everything! Let's first spend time speaking on the phone, asking each other questions and getting to know each other. Based on your needs, we will collaborate and create a plan to accomplish your goals within your time frame and budget. Most importantly, I can promise you that you will receive valuable & applicable advice &/or a solid plan to create a beautifully functional and wonderfully enjoyable living space.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
- Studied Interior Design in Florence, Italy. - Worked for 6 years as a Design Consultant with an urban modern furniture brand in Bellevue, WA. - Consulted with hundreds of clients to provide home furniture & decor plans to meet their design style, organizational/functional needs, all within budget and time frame. - Facilitated innumerable furniture installations and styling appointments. - Celebrated with all my happy & satisfied clients who now love their homes.
