Coach Mike has been a fantastic coach to my 11 year old daughter! He is very knowledgeable, encouraging, and patient. He makes tennis fun for her! She has come so far in such a short amount of time, and she looks forward to lessons each week! Coach Mike has a gift for tennis and teaching!

Our children currently take private lessons from Coach Mike. They enjoy the lessons; we appreciate Mike's professionalism, teaching skills and genuine interest in developing their love for the sport. In just a short time, their skills have improved immensely and they look forward to lessons with him. Not only have they improved in technical skills, but also in strategy and mental toughness. Coach Mike makes it fun to learn a sport that they can play well into their adult years!

I have been working with Mike each Monday for several months. He has helped my game tremendously. His teaching style is very encouraging. His insight into the game of tennis has given me insights I had never seen before. Specifically, I have learned to retreat more to take the ball in my strike zone instead of slicing the ball, to keep my racquet head lower, keep my head down looking at the ball longer. He has worked with me on combination of strokes and helped improve my volleys. In all this, he has been very patient with my efforts to go from realization to execution to habit. I highly recommend Mike as an instructor and just a good guy! Ken Johns
