Learning is lifelong process that can begin at any time with proper guidance at the right time and momentum. Personally, I was so hesitant to take online classes as I was unsure about learning without someone to guide me in person. However, Ross proved to be excellent mentor who made learning guitar a breeze with baby steps at a time to me. A brief background of myself as a student. I'm 30 years old, busy office worker kind of trying to learn an instrument I've always wanted to since I was a kid. I had gone about a year trying to teach myself how to play bass/guitar with a popular app and although it was teaching my things, there was no direct feedback in the pace I should be going like moving on to the next lesson or maybe practicing that one exercise a little longer. So far, with a little over 3 months taking lessons with Ross I can absolutely say it is worth every cent to receive a more structured lesson with personalized feedback. That personalized lesson is what makes the true difference as every student is going to learn differently and I'm no exception so when we move on to a new chord, scale or other music theory concept, Ross knows how to explain it to me so that I'll understand. When it comes time to practice the new chord, scale or theory, Ross can guide me in a way that makes it easy for me to play and slowly everything starts coming together as we practice. Not only is it just repetition to learn but backtracking to a skill I'm comfortable with and building off that is what I've noticed he does. Safe to say that I've learned way more in 3 months than I have in the year I tried teaching myself. I recommend Ross as the fact that it's video learning does not seem to make a difference in the quality of his teaching. Thanks for reading.

Studied performance and composition at Santa Fe University of Art and Design. Previous Bass and Guitar teacher at Musical Life Denver, Modern Music Studio, and Elevated Music Center.
How did you get started doing this type of work?
Life long passion for music that culminated in performing with my bass hero Les Claypool. After reading the Music Lesson by Victor Wooten I began to offer my insight and expertise as a way to serve the spirit of music.
