- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
At DLJ Productions, our pricing varies based on event type, duration, and services required. We offer customized quotes to ensure accuracy. Discounts are available for early bookings (six months in advance), package deals (combining DJ, lighting, and sound services), referrals, and active/retired military personnel. Additional fees may apply, including travel fees for events outside a 50-mile radius, equipment rental fees for extra equipment, and overtime fees for events exceeding scheduled times. Payment terms include a deposit to secure booking, balance due 30 days prior to the event, and accepted payment methods are credit cards, checks or bank transfers. We offer three packages: Basic (DJ services and sound equipment), Premium (DJ services, sound equipment and lighting), and Elite (DJ services, sound equipment, lighting and special effects). - What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We begin with an initial consultation to discuss event goals, objectives and requirements, gathering information on event type, date, location and audience. Following this, we tailor a customized proposal outlining services, equipment and pricing, including event concept, timeline and technical requirements. Upon acceptance, we finalize event details and agreement, securing booking with a deposit payment. Next, we collaborate on event logistics, scheduling and layout, confirming technical requirements and equipment needs. On event day, our team arrives early for setup and sound check, ensuring seamless execution. We deliver exceptional DJ services, lighting and sound, adapting to any last-minute requests. After the event, we ensure customer satisfaction and gather feedback for future improvements.
