- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
All staging consultant services are based on a standard hourly rate. Should you choose additional services beyond the initial 2-hour minimum consultation, there will be a set standard rate for things such as sourcing furniture, shopping, final staging day execution, etc. The actual cost to stage a home is dependent on multiple factors as every scenario is different. These may include the price point, size and state of the home, amount of work you would like to execute from the action plan.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Stage 1: Your Personal Consultation & Assessment We will meet for a 2-hour minimum consultation to assess the current state of the property. I will evaluate each space and provide recommendations, select colors, finishes, and provide the overall vision. This will be a hands-on consultation where I may rearrange furniture, art, accessories, belongings, etc. so you can visualize the transformation. By the end of our session, you will be able to walk away with a complete action plan with priorities identified. You will be able to decide if you want to execute the plan yourself or if you prefer that I manage the process start to finish! Stage 2: Customized Sourcing for Your Unique Needs Should you decide to use my extended services of managing your project, I will take the lead on identifying existing furniture & furnishings to remain, picking out rental furniture, shopping for accessories & art, overseeing any renovation & repair work, and sourcing services such as decluttering, cleaning, etc. Stage 3: Staging Project Execution This is when the transformation takes place! Furniture will arrive, art will be hung, accessories placed, and final staging touches before the listing. The hard work is done! You can be rest assured that your home will sell faster and sell higher!
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
My background is in the construction and commercial real estate development industry for 12+ years working on numerous multi-million-dollar projects. I possess a construction science & management degree in addition to home staging training that provides the expertise that I’m able to offer to clients to help them create a place that people are willing to invest top dollar in to rest, play, work, and enjoy!
