I am a private chef and nutrition educator. I hold a Culinary Arts degree from Johnson & Wales, an Education degree from NYU, and a Law degree/license. I have worked for many families (including high profile and celebrity clients) and institutions over the past couple of decades, but I also love doing one off special events (calling all bachelorette parties). I have studied nutrition and international cuisine extensively, and I enjoy the challenge of creating new menus which cater to unique individual needs and tastes. I am an ACF Certified Culinarian as well as a certified Food Safety Manager, Dining Room Associate, Wine Steward, and ServSafe Alcohol Responsible Alcohol Server.

I have experience with every special diet imaginable - personally and professionally - vegan/vegetarian (plant-based), pescatarian, gluten free, paleo, keto, kosher, low fat, low sodium, nut free, soy free, sugar free!
***If you are interested in having me cook for you, my goal is to have your food look and taste great while adhering to whatever dietary parameters. Regardless of preferences based around food allergies, overall health and beauty, or religious/ethical beliefs, I believe strongly in facilitating environmentally- and socially-conscious change by purchasing local, sustainable, and non-GMO or organic whenever practicable. As a result of my healthy diet's revolutionary impact on my own physical and mental wellbeing, I am also available to provide suggestions and encouragement to anybody struggling to make similar changes because I know it’s not easy.

How it works:
You tell me how you (and whoever else wants to participate) eat and what issues you would like addressed - from going raw/vegan/vegetarian to affording organic produce to cooking for individuals with health concerns, food allergies (i.e. gluten, soy, etc.), or eating disorders - and we develop a class tailored especially to your needs which might include basic nutritional information, grocery shopping tips, demonstrations on proper cooking techniques and how to use unfamiliar ingredients, referrals to helpful professionals or local businesses, and/or question and answer discussions aimed at addressing your specific roadblocks to getting and staying well.
I love that I am able to serve the greater good while simultaneously pursuing my creative passion. It's much more fun than practicing law!
