I won’t be able to say enough about KP. He is freaking perfect. Listening kindly and wanting so much input from us so he could tailor his work to our day. He drops in and mixes seamlessly. What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I'm pretty flexible on fee structure (deposits, payment schedule, etc.) Typically I charge a flat fee that includes consultation, planning, setup, dj'ing (obviously), mc’ing (If needed), and break down.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
For weddings, I typically ask that you send me 10-20 must play songs, and 10 absolutely do not play songs. From there I curate a list of about 50 songs for the night and send those back to you in advance of the wedding for final review. I also work with couples to choose the mood for the dinner/cocktail music, and bridal party intros + first dance songs. (My wife is a wedding planner, so I have a solid understanding of wedding structure.)
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Have been DJ now for more than 5 years.
