For clarity, you were messaging me about your job at 11pm at night. You also posted this "review" at 3am. I actually sent you the bulk of the important questions in the first message. Then sent one follow up message asking if you also needed disposal of the door, as some customers do not, to be sure that I came prepared. I'm sorry that you don't have very much experience with contract workers, but that's typically how it goes. Also, expecting me to respond to you that late in the night is wild. I have a life outside of this app. I'm not a robot. Going as far as to post a 1 star review when you haven't even seen what I can do is very telling of the kind of person you are. Have a good one.

It is true that a personal matter required me to cancel the job that day. I apologized the day of for the inconvenience. When you asked me when my next available day was, I did not have an answer to give at the time, as a change in my schedule was the reason for my cancelation. I should have reached back out to you, but I assumed through what I said in my cancelation message that you would simply hire another tech and get that done. I should have reached back out when my schedule cleared back up, I apologize for that. Although, I did mention going with another tech in my cancelation message, for clarification. It is not true that I "stopped answering calls". There were never any calls to begin with. All of our communication was through thumbtack. Also, the last message you sent was on the day of the cancelation, so there were no other attempts to communicate with me before this review was written. Also, for transparency: you were asking me to conceal damage to the frame of a door without actually repairing it, because you wanted the cheapest solution available. The estimated cost was $65.
