Whether, it be painting or installing a floor, I appreciate the opportunity to be able to provide a great service for you that you will enjoy for years. Painting charges for labor only: $1 sq ft for walls (1 coat) $1.50 sq ft for walls (2 coats) $1 linear ft for trim (1 coat) $1.50 linear ft for trim (2 coats) $200 per room for ceilings (2 coats) as long as it is not vaulted or a tray ceiling. $45 per door (2 coats) Floor installation charges for labor only: $2.50 sq ft for vinyl plank flooring. $3.00 sq ft for laminate installation. $3.50 sq ft for hardwood installation. What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I usually charge by the sq ft. I try to be fair and affordable. Im negotiable.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I try to establish a good rapport. I want the customer to know exactly what they are getting for my services and to answer any questions that they may have.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I spent most of my adult career in the airline industry, but after a near death experience about 8 years ago, I decided to go to work for myself. I learned how to paint at a young age and picked up a lot of my other skills over the years.
