DO NOT BOOK! 0/10. Waste of TIME and MONEY! I had an appointment scheduled for a leaking HVAC pipe at 9 AM. I get a text around 9 saying he was running a bit late. Around 10:30, I call to check in. Says he texted me that he is still running behind, but I never received a text. He then says he texted the “wrong number.” Doesn’t show up until 12 PM. He diagnoses that HVAC unit needed Freon and that was causing the pipe to leak, although I never had a coolant problem. He adds Freon & leaves. Pipe in ceiling still leaking. So I call him to come back, he says he will be on his way around 5:15 PM. He doesn’t show up until 8:30 PM, saying once again there was confusion because he “texted the wrong number”. He comes back, adds MORE Freon, and changes my filter that was very old. But 2 days later, the pipe coming from the HVAC is leaking again. $800 later, I’m back at square 1 with the SAME issue. He took advantage of me, charged me this fee, wasted hours of my time waiting, all to not even fix the issue. TERRIBLE service, I do NOT recommend. Photos attached of incompetence via text and how the issue has gotten worse since before my service to present day.

Mam like I told you when I was there adding Freon would not permanently solve the issue , and the Freon would leak out again eventually until the source of the leak ( where the roofers punctured the line ) was fixed , you chose to only add the Freon and then two months later leave this review saying it’s leaking again , then when I text you you say you will change the review if I give you 800 dollars . You waited two months to say anything , but when we reached out this morning said it started leaking again two days later , if that was the case why wait two months to say anything ? Sounds like you are trying to blackmail us by leaving this review unless we give you 800 dollars . You chose not to fix the issue and only put a bandaid on the problem . So this review making us look bad to try and get money from us is wrong

First of all, don't do it. I knew something was up when the owner called and told me to cancel my booking, but they would come out anyway. The owner, Chris, told me that Thumbtack charges them $144 if booked on here. I canceled, and they came out within an hour or so on Sunday, April 14, 2024. I had cut the coolant line to my upstairs unit. Having been told that it was gonna cost over $1000+ to install the coolant, I decided to opt for a new unit since it needed replacing. I was told by Chris that they would send me an invoice and get it ordered, and they would be here the following day, Monday, April 15, at 4:30 P.M. to install since I worked that day. While at work, around 2:30P.M.I received a text that they would not be able to come because they were "swamped." I told him ok, and we agreed that they come Friday, April 19, 2024, around noon. They arrived around noon and told me that they didn't have my equipment due to a truck not running, but it would come in later that day. Meanwhile, they would remove my old equipment. They removed the old equipment and then left to go get a new unit and coil. After being gone for over an hour, they returned, but the equipment had not come in. So they would have to wait until Monday to install. Chris texted me on Sunday around 6;30 P.M. on Sunday, April 21, 2024, asking if it was ok to come and install it. My equipment had come in. I said yes. They arrived around 7:45 P.M. Needless to say, they didn't finish. They came back Monday, April 2024, around 6:30 P.M. . They claimed their torch went out and left to go buy another. I didn't even know they had left. They were gone a little over an hour. Worked some, had to borrow my extension cord, didn't roll, and put away left it laying on my garage floor. Needless to say, Chris and his helper didn't finish. Chris arrived at 4:30 P.M. the next day alone. He said it would take him 20 minutes. It didn't. He borrowed my extension cord again. Didn't finish until 7:30 P.M. Tuesday night. April 23? 2024. Wednesday around 4:30 P.M. I received a new invoice for over $150 for the 1 pound of freon he said he had to add. I told him I didn't agree to that. He threatened to call the police for non-payment. This is after paying more than $4580 for a 2-ton unit and coil install. This is also after leaving a box that the coil came in upstairs. This is after using my extension cord. Leaving it outside in the yard. This is after having to borrow my vaccum to clean up. This is after installing an outside unit with missing screws and a big dent!!! See pics. Saying his "helper" forgot he had them in his pocket and forgot to put them on the unit. After sharing these pictures then they wanted to waive the freon invoice. Offered to call manufacturer to replace dented unit. After accusing me of mowing and denting it. Chris also threatened to void my 10-year warranty if I didn't pay. Why would I want them at my house after taking 4 days to install a unit
Im telling you, Thumbtack users do not hire them. You have been warned!!!

Mr. Chris, the owner of this company, told me during a text (see pictures of text) that if I didn’t give a bad review on Thumbtack that he would waive the invoice for the freon. I did not answer this text. He also said I would receive free maintenance for a year (see text). Again, I didn’t answer this text. He also finally said, “I waived the pound of Freon.” I still did not answer the text, nor agree to not write a review if he waived the Freon. After I posted my review, he says “Hey sir you need to remove that review or pay for the Freon.” But you just told me you waived the fee. I owe you nothing. I have the text to prove it.
Mr. Chris also said that he has pictures of the unit and there was not a dent. Zoom in to HIS picture and you will see the dent and the screws missing on his pictures. That is if he ever posts them. I believe he agreed to take a cheaper unit that was dented at the distribution center to put more money in his pocket. Instead of giving me what I paid for ( He said it was going to be a Goodman, it’s not) , he even claims I got a more expensive unit. That’s because I believe it was cheaper for him, so he could pocket more money.
He also claims that I must have dented the unit while mowing. I haven’t mowed this season yet. My grass is treated and still dormant. It is not growing, so hasn’t needed mowing. Again, look at his pictures and zoom in to see the dent on HIS pictures. He did agree to come and put some screws in, but I am not sure if I want him to do that. It already took him 4 different visits to finally get my unit installed. And after threatening to call the police on me, I am not sure what he is capable of.
Ask yourself would you let him back at your house for another 4 days?
He also apologized for the unit being dented (see text), and said that they sometimes are dented by the forklift or handling at the distribution center. He said he can’t believe he didn’t catch it and apologized. He continued to say that he would call the manufacturer to see if he can get it replaced. I don’t know about you, but I don’t have another 4 days to spare.
He claimed that I was trying to get out of paying him. First, I pay all my bills. I have an excellent credit rating to prove it. Second, why would I pay $4,580+ for the unit install and not want to pay $158 for Freon. If he wanted me to pay for Freon, he should have said that on Tuesday before he left. I learned about Freon 24 hours after he left, when he sent me an invoice for it. I don’t know if he even put the Freon in because he said he was finished and leaving.
He harassed me constantly, sending numerous threatening text messages. After I blocked him, he then sent messages from another number before being blocked. Is this professional behavior?
Ask yourself, would you pay it and have him and his “helper” back in your home? You have been warned.

Not true we have pictures proving there was no dent and when the technician showed you the unit before he left if there was a dent why didn’t you point it out then ? And we’ve been nothing but polite while trying to solve this issue , it seems you dented the unit to do a charge back with your bank to get your money back and are saying untrue statements to accomplish such . We take pride in serving our customers and our customers knows your statements would not happen or we would not have the customers we have . Good luck to you and sorry you felt the need to harm our company with such lies , we posted the picture of your unit on our page from the day we installed it and there’s no dents

This was thee WORST experience I have ever had! Coming out of pocket well over $1000, I expected a certain level of professionalism.
I originally hired this company to fix a leak, they came & supposedly “fixed” everything right away. Later, I realized the ceiling was still leaking so I reached out & they said stated that they forgot to turn the air off. Understanding that everyone is human, I extended grace.
Fast forward a day later, the ceiling starts leaking AGAIN. I immediately reach out, they come back and tell me they found a new issue & they will now be a new charge to fix this. I paid the new invoice & was informed that there should be no further issues.
A few days later, the air was not working at all. I let this company know & they responded “on shit my fault” & proceeded to tell me how to fix it myself. I decline to fix it myself so he agreed to come back the following day to fix his errors. He had to dig into my ceiling to fix the additional leaking, due to his negligence.
This was the final straw. He was very messy with how he dug into the ceiling. No regards to any personal items (please see provided pictures).
If you are wondering whether to work with this, DONT! Run very far away!!

That’s not how things went , you had two systems , and multiple problems between the two of them , we fixed the issue with one , and it was still leaking because the insulation was soaking wet and needed to dry not because the air was on , why would that have even been a issue after being fixed ? Before the insulation was dry you repaired the wet ceiling and then tried to blame us for it . The other system had a restriction in the refrigerant lines , we explained to you the process to clear it and you approved , we told you before doing that that we would need to cut into the ceiling to release the trapped moisture and repair the missing insulation , you wanted to hold off on that , we did the piston cleaning and you called and said it was still leaking and the heat wasn’t working , we went back and cut into the wet ceiling and informed the tenant it needed to dry before boxing it back in and vacuumed up the mess from the ceiling but was told by the tenant not to and that he would do it later after he got done playing his video game . , the other system required additional Freon which we added and also replaced the missing insulation at the supply boot , and didn’t charge for either , even though it was not from anything we had done but could tell you were frustrated . We made sure to explain every thing throughout the process and at no time did you express being unsatisfied with the work or bring up any complaints or questions during the process . After seeing your review today we reached out and offered to fix the ceiling ( which was not caused by us or anything we did ) at no cost to you to make up for you being unhappy with the service . You declined . You also had me install two thermostats two years ago and were happy with the service then , but you were on site so maybe that made a difference I’m not sure . Sorry you weren’t satisfied this time and if there’s anything we can do to improve the experience please let us know .
