Fred responded within the day of initial outreach. Took about a week and a half to 2 weeks to schedule an appointment to remove 2 birds, a nest and clean up. Everything was done except for clean up. When I addressed it with him he was matter of fact and didn’t offer an explanation. Original photos with nest as well as a picture of current status.

Details: Birds • Animal trapping and removal • 1-2 animals • Yard • Animal nesting • Less than 1,000 sq ft • Owner

Wildlife Eviction Services, LLC's reply
Hello Daniela. Sorry for the miscommunication on the service as there was not any clean up of the droppings involved in the service. Being a wildlife removal company we don’t carry cleaning supplies to clean the concrete areas on exterior and would never lead anyone to believe I would.

I hired Wildlife Eviction Services based on Fred’s detailed estimate and walkthrough of the areas inside and outside my home where squirrels were gaining entry. He explained that the most critical part of the job involved sealing the roofline gaps using galvanized steel sheets for reinforcement. Fred even showed me the material he would use and demonstrated the process. He also discussed additional work, including sealing gable vents, soffit returns (eight in total), utility entry points, and setting traps for flying squirrels. Despite these assurances, the actual work fell far short of what was promised. I have a large three-level home, and Fred initially stated that the job would take a full day—consistent with estimates from other companies. However, he arrived at 8:00 AM and was finished by 10:15 AM, which immediately raised concerns. Given the size of my home and the scope of work, it was highly suspicious that he completed everything in just 2.5 hours. This prompted me to engage a reputable independent wildlife inspector for a second opinion. The inspector conducted a thorough assessment, complete with videos and confirmed my suspicions: Fred had not completed the job as promised or sufficiently. Instead of reinforcing the entire roofline with steel, he used less than six feet of aluminum on a small section and simply screwed into my existing roofline. A large portion of the roofline area was left unsealed at all. Furthermore, he was supposed to seal eight soffit returns (transitions - soffit to shingles) with steel but only did one—and used silicone instead, which squirrels can easily chew through as pointed out by the inspector. Additionally, the inspector also confirmed that no traps had been set for flying squirrels, despite this being explicitly listed in Fred’s estimate. To make matters worse, the inspector stated that based on the actual work performed, the total cost should not have exceeded $200 at most—yet Fred charged me $1,250. Upon learning this, I immediately contacted Fred and shared the inspector’s findings, including video evidence. I also reviewed my Ring camera footage, which clearly showed that Fred only had a power screwdriver and a ladder—no building materials were ever brought onto my property. Instead of taking responsibility, Fred became defensive, denied everything, and tried to cover his tracks. Luckily, I was able to stop payment on the check before being scammed out of $1,250. I attempted to resolve the issue with Fred, but he was unwilling to acknowledge his deception. Would not recommend Wildlife. If you do use them, inspect all work before paying.

Wildlife Eviction Services, LLC's reply
Mr smith, You know very well I did the work you and I agreed to besides the two spots I missed and told you I would fix, but you decided to pay for the services and then cancel your check before this was even brought up. Securing “roofer installed” drip edge is a common and successful practice in the wildlife industry plus it saves you money. Wildlife eviction services is a very honest and reliable wildlife removal company. If you’re going leave a bad review about a company at least be truthful in your review.

I needed squirrels removed from my attic. He was able to remove them and seal all the entry points they created very quickly. A huge relief. I got quotes from other companies and he by far had the best rates. Highly recommend going with this company.
