- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
My standard rate is $75/hr. for initial consultations and $25/hr. for additional planning services. The knowledge I provide, plus the time and money I save my clients are worth many times more than the price of my fees.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I travel to the customer for the initial consultation. The fee for this meeting is $75/hr. This includes a walk-through of the design site and discussion of the client's needs. I provide a detailed analysis of what works well in the home and how to improve areas that are of concern for the homeowner. This meeting can be a one-time consultation, or, the basis for further design services. Payment for the initial consultation is made at the time of the consultation. This usually takes no more than 2 hours.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have two years experience as an interior designer and I have 1 year as a remodel project manager with Lowe's Home Improvement. I am a graduate of the New York Institute ofArt and Design.
