I have attended private lessons with Delilah for just over three months. I decided to write a review when I realized how comfortable I became with speaking and thinking in Spanish and finally being able to speak to my patients in Spanish as a healthcare provider. She creates her own lessons and is very friendly, and I find myself very excited to go to my lessons and learn more. She teaches "tricks" to getting by on what you already know, yet is very thorough in going over new concepts. The first week we discussed my goals and she makes sure to tailor my lesson to me and keeps me on track. I searched for weeks for a Spanish tutor and I am very pleased with Delilah's instruction and my own progress with her help. I would highly recommend Spanish in Atlanta for anyone who really wants to learn Spanish in Metro Atlanta.

Senora Delilah is absolutely amazing! I love how personable she is and how she makes me feel very comfortable in each session. I always get nervous speaking Spanish in front of others but am actually seeing myself gain more confidence here and spoke in public for the first time recently! Her teaching is phenomenal -she personalizes each lesson, really listens to your understanding and interest, and truly wants to help you learn the language. You will laugh a lot and learn a lot, and leave feeling as if you've accomplished something (especially after practicing your hw and returning to put it to use). She is absolutely worth the time and money and I will continue to see her as much as I can! Highly recommended!

I took Spanish lessons with Delilah for about a year and a half in order to better communicate with my in-laws. She made learning the basics fun! I really enjoyed going to class. Once we moved on to more difficult conversational Spanish, she explained it in a way that I understood. She also made me feel comfortable when I was trying to communicate and converse in Spanish as well. She also worked hard to pair me up with other students who had the same level of knowledge of the language that I had. I loved that I never had more than 3 other people in my class because I felt that I was able to get a lot of time in class to speak and get feed back on my progress. I also felt that she personalized the lessons, asking more difficult tasks of those in the class who were slightly more advanced, but keeping it easy to understand for those who needed extra practice. I have attended class with Delilah for about 2 years. About 3 years ago I completed all levels of a popular software language learning product. I then went to Mexico City on business and realized that I had a decent vocabulary and cursory conversational skills, I lacked verb conjugation and more advanced conversational and business spanish ability and really a bit of confidence. I then signed up with Delilah and have enjoyed class since. I now semi-frequently travel around central and south america and communicate with relative ease. Delilah is a fabulous teacher and I continually learn new things in her class.

I have learned so much Spanish in a short time with Delilah. She really knows how to teach a language - her methodology makes the lessons "stick". I am very thankful I have her as a teacher and can't wait to try out my abilities when I visit Peru and Costa Rica!
