- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Prices are based on the level of effort required to prepare the photos and files for scanning - are there staples and binder clips that have to be removed, photo albums, binders? What do you want scanned - everything including sticky notes, phone messages and business cards or just the standard paper? Do you want your photographs professionally enhanced or scanned as-is? - What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We would start by understanding their goals - How do they want to store the digital photographs? How do they want them organized? What's the best way to help that client use their photographs, once scanned? I'm happy to help organize and suggest storage techniques that make photos easy to find and make the archive easy to build. Then I'll meet with the client and pick up their pictures - I'll go to the home or office and review what they have and how they want them organized. We'll scan the photos quickly, with exceptional quality and deliver them back in the method of their choice.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
We have staff members who have studied photography at Savannah College of Art and Design. We have extensive photoshop experience, if that's what's needed. Most importantly, we've lost our family photos to Hurricane Katrina, so we know the importance of preserving them in a safe and secure fashion
