FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Design consultations are complimentary and include the following: A meet-and-greet session An initial site visit A discussion to understand the scope of the project
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
The design fee is structured as a one-time charge based on the estimated hours needed to complete the design. This fee covers an onsite measurement, a design intent floor plan with a proposed furniture presentation, a detailed furniture budget, and up to two revisions, which require mutual approval by both the designer and the client. If 3D renderings of the space layout are desired, these can be provided upon request but are not included in the initial fee. Any additional revisions beyond the two included will incur an extra charge. Furniture may be purchased through the designer, and project management services are billed separately on an hourly basis.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I hold a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Interior Design from the Savannah College of Art and Design (SCAD), along with a Bachelor of Arts in Communications with a focus on advertising, also from SCAD. Currently, I’m working toward earning my National Council for Interior Design Qualification (NCIDQ) certification to further enhance my expertise. I’m actively involved with the NEWH Atlanta Chapter, which keeps me engaged with the latest in the design community. My experience includes working at both residential and commercial design firms in the Atlanta area, giving me a well-rounded perspective on diverse project types.
