Scott is one the most sincere and talented graphic artist I have ever known and worked with. Scott helped me design my company logo about 4 years ago and I still use the same logo till today. We are beyond happy with the logo Mr. Scot Mmobuosi created for my dad's auto repair. After trying 2 different companies without any success and ready to give up, I found Thumbtack. Scot was the first to reply back. His price was very fair, I sent him information and pictures of what inspired our logo. He started working on it right away. When I saw the first draft, I could not wait to show it to my dad. My whole family was so impressed. We suggested some minor changes. He got the final draft done by the very next day. It was so easy to work with him. He listened, he gave us some suggestions. He was ready to answer any questions When we met, he had different size logos for us, told us how and when to use them ( business cards, news paper, big signs). He even offered to guided us when we are ready to create a website for the auto repair. I can only say, his services and creativity went far and beyond our expectations. I hired Scot Designs to add illustrations to a 24 line poem I had written. I wanted each line of the poem to reflect a different personality attached to it to further emphasize the meaning of the words. I sent Scot an example of the images I wanted to use. He brought those images to life! My poem took on a more powerful depiction then I could have ever imagined! My poem is controversial, and I am eager to share it with the world. Thanks to Scot Designs, I am more then confident that my work as a writer and his illustrations will take this poem to new heights! As a result of his tireless efforts as we communicated back and fourth to perfect our vision, my family were so impressed, that Scot Designs has been hired by my sister to make her dreams come true. What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I present a draft (or several drafts, usually sketches) to the customer based on his/her description and once a choice is made, I finish up the design
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a background in Architecture, and Pure and Applied Mathematics. I regularly update my design and application knowledge.
How did you get started doing this type of work?
I was born with artistic and creativity skills, and the love for logic sent me to study Pure and Applied Mathematics.
