Sam Tutoring

Hi. My name is Samuel Woldeyes. I'm the founder and operator of Sam Tutoring. I received a bachelor's degree in actuarial science (magna cum laude) from Georgia State University and a master's in statistics (magna cum laude) from Kennesaw State University. I have tutored math to my peers and others since I was in high school, and had worked as a tutor at Georgia Perimeter College for over five years. Throughout those years, I have learned and adapted different tutoring styles and techniques, and acquired the discipline to become the tutor I am now. I like tutoring math because I enjoy making a difference. I love solving problems, and it also gives me a chance to put my skill expertise to a good use. I tutor because I see the positive effects. It is a great way for students to learn skills that they can use immediately, as well as in the future. I provide a one-on-one and group math tutoring for students starting middle school to college level for Clarkston, Decatur, Tucker, GA and the surrounding areas. I offer these services to students with a wide range of academic needs in algebra, geometry, pre-calculus, Calculus I, Introduction to Statistics, and SAT and ACT test preparation. I will aid you through a variety of tutoring techniques by addressing your individual needs in a constructive environment, combining it with humor, honesty and empathy.
