FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I charge $70.00 for one hour and I teach a full hour. That cost includes initial consultation, music, and travel time and expenses. The price lowers as more hours are purchased. Five or more hours the price is $65.00. Ten or more hours the price is $60.00. I don't sell more than one block of 10 lessons.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We first discuss the desired dance. I teach customers exactly what they want. I don't spend time trying to upsell advanced lessons. I teach as fast as the person is able to comprehend and I teach style and technique along the way.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I trained at Arthur Murray Dance Studios in Atlanta and have been teaching independently for 30 years. I taught four years at Georgia Tech and seven years at the University of Kentucky. I have choreographed wedding routines and theater musicals. As a student or a teacher - one never stops learning. I am always learning new material and dances.
