- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I talk to them to see what their goal for a finished product is. We'll discuss length, type of media used, and what "extras" they want included, as well as the format, where the product will be displayed, and the intended audience.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Everything I've done is self-taught. Doing this as a hobby first has given me plenty of time to learn through trial and error, and perfect what I do.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
It began as a hobby. As room mom for my children, I would take photos and videos throughout the school year. Then came the problem of sharing these memories. The best and most engaging way I could think of was to create DVDs for everyone. As my kids moved on to middle and high school, I missed creating the DVDs, and decided to expand into a business.
