FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I aim to make quality singing lessons affordable to as many people as possible. To do that, I offer 30, 45 and 60 minute lessons, and I also offer 4 lesson packages that are more affordable than paying for individual lessons.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
In the first lesson I will get to know the student, their voice, and their vocal challenges as goals. Once I have a sense for the student's ability and opportunities for improvement, I'll create a custom lesson plan to help them improve quickly. The typical lesson will consist of a short vocal warm up, some time spent on whatever vocal techniques the student is currently learning, and then we will work on a song together (usually of the student's choosing, but I'm happy to make recommendations).
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I'm a BAST certified vocal coach with over 10 years of teaching experience and 20 years of performance experience. I've been very fortunate to train under some of the best vocal coaches in the world with a variety of methodologies, including classical vocal training and the SLS method. As a performer, I've sang in over 10 countries, released several albums and singles, and performed lead roles in musical theatre productions.
