Introduction

I offer online lessons for piano students in classical, jazz, and pop styles. My lessons cover piano and music theory, reading, technique, playing by ear, and improvisation. I teach students from ages 7 to 55. For online bass lessons I offer beginner and intermediate level lessons in bass fundamentals and popular idiom styles

Ray is a very great piano teacher. He knows what he’s doing. He’s honest about what you need to improve on but he’s patient as well. I was hesitant to book him at first because during the trial lesson, I was nervous to show where I was at on my skills with the piano but once I decided to go with him, the more I worked with him, he’s the real deal. He’s knows everything from music theory, playing by ear, and he’s affordable which is the main reason why I searched for another piano teacher. My lessons are virtual and they have been going by well so far. He emails you a recap after every lesson as well as your homework assignment. At the end of the day, how much practice you do is what’s going to determine how far you will get when it comes to becoming a great musician. I would highly recommend Ray to anyone looking to take piano lessons with a great teacher. You won’t be disappointed.

If you are a novice bass player and wish to improve your skills to higher levels, Ray is the instructor for you. I’ve watched many bass videos on Youtube, but after taking lessons with Ray, I honestly feel that my knowledge is starting to supercede most experienced bass players. Ray does not only teach you how to play bass, he teaches you about music theory. Basic principles needed to enhance your playing – it’s the little things that count. That’s the info that differentiates a good bass player from a great one. I look forward to each lesson in anticipation of learning something new. Ray provides a comfortable and fun environment as you learn. If you’re hesitant or nervous about stepping out and fulfilling a long time dream, your worries are over – Ray is the one to call.
