- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Estimates are given with the information provided in the Thumbtack referral. It is common for an estimate to change after the initial discussion with the customer, as more information is gathered. We always strive for competitive pricing, and adjust our estimates as the price of equipment, permitting, and labor change.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Our typical process will vary depend on the service provided. Typically we will provide a quote, execute a contract and perform a site visit, gather the equipment and permits, and then schedule a date for the work. Invoicing timelines vary on the service provided, if a deposit is needed, etc. Scheduling is about 4-6 weeks out for projects that require a permit. Permitting time varies per jurisdiction, and we can usually provide a better estimated schedule as we work through the process.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
In addition to 8 years in business for ourselves, and numerous previous years in the industry, we have certifications from Enphase, Generac, SolarEdge, LG Battery.
