FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Southern Classic pricing is for the most part figured by the cubic inches. If you go with a larger or smaller cabinet, the price will reflex accordingly. We also do some things standard, that others charge for ie soft close drawers or dove tailed hardwood drawers. We don’t have the large fancy shop with a large fancy payment either. We are not the cheapest most of the time but I’ll put the quality up against any cabinets on the market. Send me some sizes and let me figure you out a great kitchen.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Listen to your customers thoughts and write that down. Let them tell you what they want. If asked make suggestions. Measure twice and ask questions about the job. Once we have an understanding on the project then we talk wood types, color, shine or no shine. Help them understand that I will build what they want and put it on their home.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I’m a number guy, a student of old time craftsman like my Dad who at one time built boats, one still holds a world record. My good friends Tim, Glenn, Kieth, and others in my some 50 years of playing in the sawdust.
