FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
The pricing is based on a few factors, the main factor is the level of complexity. For example, our hourly bookkeeping rates are not as high as our business consulting rates. All prices will be provided upfront and in writing, and if you need a detailed explanation, one will be provided.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
The most common answer given in this profession is…. It depends. If you are a client that needs tax preparation assistance, I will schedule a meeting to go over the previous return as well as give you a detailed list of items that I need in order to prepare your current return. If, for example you are in need of tax resolution assistance, first I will send you a client questionnaire that will help me assess your case and take action quickly. If you are a non-profit that files a 990, in order to maintain your status, you must file at least a 990N form every three years. I say all that to say that each client will be handled differently, but the goal in each interaction is to make sure you receive quality service at a reasonable cost.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I received a bachelor’s degree from the University of Georgia, and a Master of Business Administration degree from Western Governors University. I am licensed by the state of Georgia as a CPA and I am an Enrolled Agent as well. I am also a certified QuickBooks pro-advisor. Since the tax changes this year are the largest in 30 years, my continuing professional education for 2018 was triple that of any other year.
