TLDR: absolutely flawless service on short notice with fair pricing, great communication, and professionalism. The best experience with movers that I’ve ever had. Seriously. I have hired movers 4 times over the last decade in Atlanta and was always disappointed with them. Some had issues being on time, having appropriate equipment, taking care not to damage furniture, left or lost items by accident, etc. Last week, on the Thursday before a snow day, I was offered a brand new full size mattress and adjustable bed frame that I needed for my mother. I needed it picked up ASAP so it wasn’t gifted to someone else that could pick it up sooner. Immediately, I sent out bids on thumbtack thinking I was never going to find anyone with such short notice. Big surprise! Ira, the owner of Man with the Plan, immediately called me less than a minute after I sent out the request. Ira was communicative, straightforward about pricing, timeline, and sent me text updates about their status as I requested. He also communicated with the folks at the pickup location as well. He didn’t price gouge for the short notice request which I experienced from other companies texting me after I had already booked with Ira. Ira was able to immediately pickup the bed in Brookhaven, brought it to my home, moved a queen bed from the first floor to the second floor, and install the new bed in the first floor. He and his coworker had a professional set of tools to disassemble and reassemble the new bed frame. It was immediately usable when they left. I placed the request on thumbtack at 8 AM and it was completed by 11:15 AM. The folks at the pickup location contacted after Ira left to tell me how great the service was. They went out of their way to tell me that. I highly recommend Ira and his company. I feel fully confident that they bring the same great service to every move, no matter the size.

The team did an excellent job with moving my family! They came in and got right to it. This was a very last minute request and they came through for me right on time! Hopefully I won’t be moving any time soon but if I do I will definitely be using them again.

They arrived much later than expected, but they kept me updated on the delays. Also, when they did arrive, they were fast and were willing to take everything I had, including items that weren't boxed and ready (I was going to come back later and throw them in my car). They took no breaks and got me moved as fast as they could (not dragging out time). They were hard workers. I really appreciate those guys. One of the movers was named Pierre. I didn't get the other mover's name, but I wish I did so I could include it in the review, because these guys really worked hard to get me moved in fast. I really appreciate those guys. I don't have much money, so the fact that they made the move fast without adding extra time was much appreciated. I don't even know them beyond that day, but I love those guys. They really came through for me. It's good to know that there are still people out there not trying to take advantage of folks.
