I’d like to start by saying that I’m a very understanding person. Right before she was supposed to come to my house, I sent her my gate code. Everything was good until she told me she was having car trouble even though she already knew she was having issues. I told her that I understood and to keep me updated on her situation which she said she would do. However after that, she never responded. I’m beyond disappointed.

Should have an option for 0 stars.
Never showed up, never wrote back to my text messages. Said she was running behind from a previous job and is running behind by 45 minutes and that was it. Tried to give her a chance to reschedule, explain for not responding back, ie dead phone, damaged, or lost phone (things happen I get it) but nothing on her end.
Don’t hire unreliable people.

My appt was scheduled for 1p. She did not arrive until 345p due to child care issues. To which I accepted. Though any other job would job not care. To which also incurred extra cost to myself as i had a acheduled time to be at my appt as well. We walk through my home and she states the price is 153 plus 65 extra for stairs and windows which are add on services. To which I also accepted. That total is now 207. To which she did confirm. We spoke at 730 at what time she stard the total will now be 223. I inquired why. She went on to speak of the pet add on, which she should have told me when we spoke at my home. Then a Cash app fee. Which she also did not speak on. Moving forward I informed she needs to be more transparent about ALL fees for services, a customer should not find out after services are completed. I paid the asked for amount against my better judgement.. I got home today and it was a sloppy service done. Late, Overcharged, and terrible job. Not worth the money. NO dusting was done in the bedroom, kitchen or lower level. Moreover the house didn't SMELL like clean. No bleach, no cleaning detergents either. First impression was the last impression.

Hello sorry you felt this way about your cleaning service. The service that you paid for and received was a General cleaning service. Cabinets, ceiling fans, inside of trash cans, shower mat, light fixtures/ high dusting were Not on the list when I sent it out to you prior to service. We did agree on additional $65 (discounted) for your 2 additional rooms, 2 staircases and windows. As I have tried to explain a few times $65 plus $153 equals $218 NOT $207. Again my apologies for my tardiness of my 1-2p arrival frame ( as I don’t have exact time appointments as stated the day of booking) there was an emergency at my child’s school as I explained prior to the start of the time frame. Again my apologies had I known that you expected free services because on my tardiness (as you stated ) it may have been best to cancel but I do appreciate your business. Thank you!

Dorcea is very deceitful in that she purports to be a very sweet person when you first speak with her. Then she changed the price on me (a client) last minute. Moreover, she did a poor job cleaning an already neat home. Per our conversation, I stressed the need for focusing primarily on dusting since my daughter is suffering from allergies. She charged me (and even confirmed until our last conversation last night) a price and then. Cashapp requested a much higher price once she was “finished”! When I spoke to her, giving her the benefit of the doubt, I was very respectful and kind in my communication with her. I even paid her an extra $10 ($18 less than the new, higher price she had given me) in good faith for the supposed “misunderstanding” between us (since I knew unequivocally that she hadn’t quoted me the higher price previously). However, instead of being humble and agreeing to meet halfway, she became hostile towards me and even accused me of “borderline ‘harassing her’ when making her feel ‘uncomfortable’”. I even sent her photos of the incomplete job in which she didn’t clean next to or underneath couches and beds before deciding to post this review since I don’t like to make people look bad. That’s not my style. I’m very understanding. But again, there was no humility in her. Instead she just told me to do whatever I want and proceeded to claim that I hadn’t “paid in full”! We agreed upon $125 and she then charged me $158, apparently including a “processing fee”. I’m perturbed by this interaction between us because I’m a very conscientious and agreeable individual. I NEVER try to take advantage of anyone. I tried to call and text her to work things out, but she ignored me and then threatened me. Her mode of operation (MO) will be to respond to this review and make me look like the bad guy. But I assure you. She’s not not the fair and conscientious person she purports to be. I have attached some photos of the undone areas in my home. PLEASE BE AWARE BEFORE YOU DECIDE TO HIRE HER!!!!!!

Due to the 30 plus text messages and several voicemails of you apologizing for not paying the quoted price on thunmbtack. I have turned over all of you calls and texts to the police. The thumbtack price QUOTED was $150. I told you that due to the MOLD on the bathroom walls and ceiling in both bathrooms I would charge 1/2 hr of. $22.50 (which I actually waved and kept it at the thumbtack price but you said you wanted to be a regular monthly so I did the Extra work for free. And offer you a monthly of $125 AFTER MOLD WAS REMOVED. As I previously informed you of these pictures this are of UNDERNEATH couch and beds and I don’t move furniture and this pic of the floor was from the shoes that were NOT moved before my arrival. Price was not changed last min as you just made appointment at 10 pm and I arrived at 7:50am and it was on thumbtack. I have NEVER had these sorts of issues with my customers i hope you find someone who works for you. Have a Great day.
