I've really enjoyed my experience working with Kurt. Having worked with other financial advisors in the past, I've particularly enjoyed his approach of treating me, our family, and our goals holistically and in a way specific to us. It's nice not to be given canned answers that don't see us as anything other than an age and a risk tolerance. While retirement-focused investments are a part of the conversation, it's helpful to see how they fit into an overall financial plan that also includes budgeting, shorter-term investing, education savings plan, tax planning, insurance, and everything else out there.

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
We only make money from how our clients pay us. We don't every receive any commissions or kickbacks from the products we recommend. We charge a % of assets that we manage. The higher the assets, the lower the %. We charge directly from our clients' accounts.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
All potential clients get a "1 page Financial Plan", or a snapshot of the current financial situation. If we decide to work together, expect 3-5 calls within the first 6 months to make sure we have all the information to build your financial plan, which is your guidebook on how we can help you achieve your goals.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am a CFP® Professional, Certified Investment Management Analyst (CIMA®), and hold the Series 7 and 66 licenses.
