Absolutely love the work that Top Notch did! I had a super tiny bathroom that was stuck in the 80s and they were able to help me give it the refresh it needed. The tile work is amazing, it actually goes to the ceiling (which the old tile did not) and it looks so clean. The tile that I chose was massive and they were able to make it nice and flush which I know takes some skill. They kept me updated and helped me keep my expectations realistic and stay within my budget. I couldn’t be happier! I have a ton of other work and I will absolutely be reaching out to them in the future.

I enjoyed working with Johnny and his contractors. Every team showed up on time, if not early. They checked with me throughout the process to make sure I was happy and fixed any concerns that I had. Often times contractors will talk down or attempt to “man splain” things and I never felt that from any of the members of his crew. This company does an amazing job of combining professionalism with a family owned company. I will work with them again in the future.

Was able to have my floors tiled this weekend. Was very happy they were able to save me money and tile ontop of the existing tile. Floors look great as I was looking for the wood tile look. Had a small hiccup but they came back the next day and fixed my baseboard issue.

Details: Living room • Entranceway • Kitchen • Floor • 401 - 500 sq ft • No, but I will buy the tiles myself

Save yourself the headache and go with anyone else. I hired this pro to remodel my bathroom after a plumbing issue revealed that the subfloor of the bathroom was rotten. I hired a remediation company to demo and mitigate the water damage and this team to restore the bathroom. The first issue was that they gave me a quote that didnt break down into every little detail, so during the job there was a lot of "extra" items added which I had asked the pro for during the quote process (I know because I got quotes from several pros and asked in writing for the same items). The crew that did the job didnt speak any english and would show up late (5pm instead of 9 am late). They didnt clean up after themselves and left many parts of the job unfinished. I had to paint my bathroom walls, I had to sand parts of the wall that they demod, and patched up but were going to leave unfinsihed. They also scuffed up walls in parts of the house that were not part of the project and acted annoyed when I asked them to finish. As for the work that was done, I had to ask them to regrout tile as it had cracked the next week after installation, the bathtub they installed was squeaking really badly that I didn't feel safe continuing to use it and when I did use it...it leaked. I asked them to come back and fix it. After a few scheduling changes, they came and tried to fix the issue but a few weeks later the squeaks returned and the tub now has to be removed and I have to purchase a new tub and pay a different team to reinstall it. Its been a nightmare of an experience and I've tried to give the team opportunities to remediate but at this point I just need to go with someone else. Spending $9k on a bathroom just to have to do ask much patchwork and having to reinstall a tub? Go with anyone else. I feel like youtube and a little elbow grease would have gotten me a better result than going with this "Pro". Also, he only accepts cash. This is my fault as I should have looked wt his profile but having to get that much money in cash is a little challenging these days especially in an emergency situation like I was in....but just fyi while you vet contractors. The pictures show how the bathroom was gutted to the stud (fresh start) and the others are the "completed" work. Go with anyone else.
