I contacted North Star through Thumbtack and someone responded immediately and set up an evaluation visit. Once here Dimitry analyzed the problem and gave me all the details I needed to make a decision. He was very honest about what the pricing was based on. He came back the following week and completed the job on the date we set and he completed the job without any problems, he even informed me a minor leak he noticed and gave some suggestions on what may be needed to stop it. He was very courteous and professional. I will definitely be using North Star for future issues.

Finally, I get a repairman that KNOWS what he is doing. He has he ability to see what the problem is and go to it. He does not cut corners, He keeps on working the repair and even will back up a nd redo if he does not like the result. He was awesome.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We will diagnose your appliance and inform you of the repair needed. We will provide you with a flat rate price for the repair based on the National Price Guide. The trip/diagnostic fee is cancelled with repair. We stock most of the common parts on our trucks and many repairs can be completed on the spot.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Trained to work on all major household appliances by the manufacturers.
How did you get started doing this type of work?
I was hired as a helper at an appliance repair company/shop. In record time rose through the ranks and became lead service technician. The rest as they say... is history!
