I provide a clean music service for your event. I specialize in weddings, private parties, family reunions, corporate events, and school dances. My goal is to make your event memorable to all of your guests! I have customized playlists, a professional attitude, a wide variety of music, and years of experience. I like to work with the client personally to make your event the best that it can be. It only takes a small deposit to lock in your date; until then I will gladly provide consultation and answer any of your questions. Most of my wedding and party packages include dance lights. Ask about these add-ons that enhance your wedding or other events for very reasonable prices: - Sparkler Send-Offs (starting at $50, depends on length and number) - Dancing on a Cloud (starting at $375) - Cold Sparks (starting at $600) - Uplight Accenting (starting at $200) - Karaoke (price depends on event length) - Music Bingo (price depends on event length) - Photo Booth (starting at $700) I have worked at weddings (including LGBTQ), corporate events, school dances (member of responsible DJs of the School Dance Network) and festivals, 5k and 10k races, private home parties, private parties in clubs, and comedy shows. Social distancing does not mean you cannot have a wedding or celebration. Besides an in-person socially distant event, you may want to consider a virtual or hybrid event. Virtual and hybrid gatherings are becoming extremely popular. They allow you to have a party and social distance. A virtual party is completely virtual, while a hybrid party is where some guests and the DJ are at a location and other guests tune in remotely. I have experience with both settings. I provide Zoom access and music. You bring the energy to the party, chat, and have fun! You can also ask me about Zoom weddings, which are also becoming popular. The best thing about being a DJ is setting the atmosphere with music and watching people enjoy themselves. My review: Music By DJ CSharp was outstanding! Charles was extremely professional. His website was very helpful for planning our music for the wedding. Everyone loved the DJ & we had a blast dancing the night away! Every age was on the dance floor (from 2 years old - 92 years old)! Charles provided a “dancing on the cloud machine” for the first dance for my son & his new bride. It was gorgeous! Look no further for the best DJ around. Highly recommended!!!! If you’re looking for an amazing DJ CSharp is ALL you will ever need!!! I was thoroughly impressed by his attention to detail and desire to please his clients. He set up a Zoom call to discuss my music tastes, the demographics of my event attendees and went over and above to make sure he could cater to my needs. He has a great feature where you can send a link to your guests and have them request their favorite songs. But even if you don’t take advantage of that, he’s great about taking impromptu requests and going with the flow of the event. I hired DJ Sharp for my 50th birthday party and he had the party going from the start to the end!! I was so impressed by his great communication and easy payment options and, going into the event, I was confident that he would deliver! I have a lot of videos showing my friends having a great time but am not gonna post them to protect the innocent 🤣 However, I’m willing to talk to anyone who has any questions about DJ Charles’ amazing professionalism and ability to make your event the best EVER. I had fun and my guests are still raving about the great music and fun they had at my party. At the end of the day, that’s all you really want, right? You want to have great time and want your guests enjoys the event too! RUN, don’t walk to hire this wonderful, professional, amazing and friendly DJ for your next event!!!!

DJ CSharp did an excellent job at our wedding. He allowed for perfect planning and worked with us where we needed help in arranging the order of events. He coordinated very well with our other vendors (guitarist and caterer) and everything went off perfect. He is extremely organized and has a portal to upload all instructions / order of events / important info / song requests. We requested many many songs and he did a great job mixing them in to the overall event. We had 2 music areas with different genres playing simultaneously. Not only did he do a great job at DJ’ing but also did a fantastic job at MC’ing all the introductions of the wedding party and transitions from one event to the next (cake cutting/ bouquet toss, etc). We asked him to stay a few extra hours and he was very accommodating. He arrived very early at our house and set up with plenty of time so everything would run smoothly. Equipment was very high quality as well. We love you Charles!

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
My pricing is on the low-competitive end. I don’t want to break your pocketbook, but I do want to provide you with high-quality service. I do have discounts available for school functions. I also have seasonal specials. Just reach out and we can talk.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I like have a face-to-face or phone meeting to discuss the vision for the event and to understand your likes and dislikes. For weddings, I have a detailed process that includes personality, event scheduling, colors, musical tastes, must have and must not playlist, desired DJ attire and persona, and more. My goal is to get to know you as well as you get to know me so that I can be your partner in your event.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am a graduate of Scratch DJ Academy (scratch.com) as a certified professional DJ. I also take mixing and scratching courses regularly. In addition, I have taken courses and 20 plus years of public speaking. I’m a lifelong learner, and so I am always finding ways to learn how to improve my DJ skills. I am certified by the School Dance Network as a school friendly. You can learn more at schooldancenetwork.com. I am also a member of Digital DJ Tips where I have completed courses in mixing, house mixing, scratching, and multi-genre mixing. I am always learning news ways to excite the dance 💃🏽 🕺🏾 floor!
