Note from Carol: I have over 25 years experience as a pet sitter, and started my own official pet sitting business about 4 years ago, and it's done so well, I now have a wonderful employee! We both have a lot of fabulous references and testimonials. I would be happy to share with you; we have not had a dissatisfied client yet! We are a completely professional pet sitting service, and we offer a full range of options to fit every situation, from once a day visits to 24/7 care. I am also an herbal practitioner, and offer health consultations for pets and people, and also sometimes make custom aromatherapy blends for pets and people. I have taught natural healing classes at many different local venues, including the University of Georgia. I write and publish articles about natural healing for pets and people, and some of my articles have appeared in Critter Magazine and various animal-related websites online. I have loved and cared for animals all of my life, and have also been involved with many different rescue and shelter organizations through the years. I also have experience working in boarding facilities, and I love working with a multitude of animals. I am especially good with the "special needs" animals; they just touch my heart in that extra special way! Thank you for contacting us for your free estimate. We look forward to meeting you and your furry and feathered families! Note from Deniese: I have been an animal lover all of my life. Taking care of our 4-legged creatures has been something I have been enjoying for 45 years. I was raised on a farm where I helped my grandmother throughout my youth, even tending to the sick animals with her. Animal wellness and care has always been a concern of mine. I have worked directly with animals in an animal control facility for 5 years, and as a veterinarian technician and kennel manager at Gwinnett Animal Clinic in Lawrenceville for 2 years, helping to take care of the sick animals, in addition to the healthy ones. I have rescued many animals on my own that would have died or been destroyed, bottle feeding them till they were old enough and well enough to find homes. Over the past 13 years, I have practiced alternative healing work both for people and for animals. I studied for 3 years to become a Reiki master, which allows me to teach Reiki, as well as perform healing on people and pets as well. I have found that being able to do this for our animal friends helps them improve the quality of their lives. It is my pleasure and delight that Carol has asked me to join her in her business of Carol's Critter Care, to help take care of the animals while the owners are away. I look forward to meeting all of you, and getting to know you and your critters!

Our babies LOVE when Deniese walks through the door! She is welcomed by all. They've done a great job. We can vacation without any worries. She is trust worthy and loyal to her clients. We love being able to leave our pack in the comfort of their/our home. It's been a relief to have someone we can count on and someone the animals love.

Carol is the best pet sitter I have ever had! She is one of the most loving and caring people I know. She loves and cares for my animals as if they were her own. My animals always look so happy and well cared for when I get back from a trip that they seem to say "Oh too bad you're back already. We want Carol to keep taking care of us!" I would highly recommend Carol to everyone without a moment's hesitation.

I have had Carol's Company sit for my many animals for years, and have had no issues. We have horses, cats and dogs, so no easy task. They are reliable, trustworthy, compassionate and my pets are always in a good mood when I come home. They leave the place as tidy as they find it too, which is nice.

FAQs

  • What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

Be sure to check references, and to have your animals meet the potential provider before committing to hiring them. References are important to check before you have the person come to your home. Do not tell a potential provider your address and the dates you will be gone until you have checked references. It is also important to be sure that this person has reliable transportation as there is no 'calling in sick' with this kind of job...the animals must be cared for, no matter what!
