FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
For personal training I start with a base hourly rate, with optional discounted packages of around 12, 24 and 36 sessions. For nutrition coaching there’s just a monthly rate based on how many times we decide to meet and what method of coaching works best for you! I offer payment plans and will work with you to be as flexible as I can to help us get started!
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I schedule a free 1-1/2hr session with them to go over thier goals. For personal training clients I also go over their exercise and injury history and give them a posture assessment to find out any structural needs we would need to focus on for injury prevention. Then I can design a program just for them. The first session is also a great time for them to get to know me and try out a workout.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I received invaluable hands-on training experience and instruction from the athletic club that I initially started working with as a trainer, and with their guidance, I studied and received certifications for Personal Training and Corrective Exercise from the National Academy of Sports Medicine (NASM), and Nutrition Coaching from Precision Nutrition (PN). I have also completed numerous continuing education courses to learn more and maintain my certifications. I was a four-sport athlete while in school and have been running marathons and competing in trail and ultra races for the past 15 years. In the case of emergency, I am also CPR certified.
