- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
From time to time, I offer discounts on my already budget-friendly pricing for all services - they'll be advertised on my website, FaceBook and Instagram.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
After client contacts me, I respond very quickly with pricing and answers to all questions by either email or phone. If client wants to book my services, I schedule their project on my calendar, including deadlines and then send them a contract-worksheet and instructions on how to set up their guest list or text. And for clients who request it, I mail them actual samples of my work or lettering styles.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
While I am a self-taught calligrapher and haven't had any formal schooling or classes in calligraphy, my corporate background as a para-legal, with a strong emphasis on detail, deadline and follow through on projects, has served my clients well through the years!
