- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Yes. Standard price for computer break fix is $60 plus parts if any are needed. We do have a travel charge of $15 for all services calls. For networking jobs or server calls our price is $80 an hour plus parts if needed. Remote support calls can differ if the issue takes a long time to fix. Most remote support calls are $40 for each remote call. Remote support calls can be from Virus Removal to just PC clean up.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Normally if the customer is requiring a big project, I like to go out and meet with customer to understand what all is needed to complete the project and to make sure we have everything to complete a quote for the customer. Customer that I have to travel to fix an issue, I will call them to schedule a time to come out. If parts have to be ordered, I call the customer with the price of the part plus service fee so they know upfront what the price will be to complete the job at hand. Once they approve, then parts are ordered. Once I know parts have arrived, I call the customer to schedule a time to complete the work.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am always staying up to date on everything new that comes out. I take Lenovo classes since I am a business partner for Lenovo and that is all I recommend to user when they ask me on what type of computer to get.
