He arrived on time and kept the crowd engaged. He played all music requested and fulfilled all our needs. He is also a great sport and even hit the dance floor with us to show us some of his moves. He is a great DJ!

Dj really does live up to his name. He host our baby shower as the DJ and the MC for games, activities and order of events. He was able to keep the energy up throughout the entire event and had a great selection of music that appealed to everyone. He also did a fantastic job of engaging the guests and getting them involved in the games and activities. Not only was he a great DJ, but he was also a fantastic MC. He kept the event running smoothly and made sure that everything was on schedule. He had a great sense of humor and was able to keep everyone entertained throughout the entire event. I would highly recommend DJ for any family or adult parties and events. He truly lives up to his name and knows how to create a fun and interactive atmosphere. We were extremely happy with his services and will definitely be hiring him again in the future.

DJ Darryl was GREAT! He DJ'd my daughter's Sweet 16 party and did an incredible job. He was excellent to work with; very responsive leading up to the party. He was punctual and very professional. He kept the dance floor going after dinner (& during dinner played all the slow songs we requested). He honored our requests that came up spontaneously throughout the night. Great value for the service received. Top notch service! Just INCREDIBLE! I would hire him again! Highly recommend. Thank you Darryl! You made our party a success!

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Either a phone or text conversation to square out & confirm the details provided by Thumbtack. Depending on your type of event (Usually for a Wedding) I will email you a music form to customize your music selections which will also provide you and your event planner a timeline for the music proceedings. There is a 25% deposit due to secure your date (Can be subject to change)
How did you get started doing this type of work?
I hosted an event last minute when I showed up as a guest and the DJ never showed. I only had my phone and Spotify & the sound system provided at the event hall, but I took it upon myself to take over the hosting duties so the people that ran the event didn’t have to worry about that part. I found it very natural and I was praised for my MC skills and my music selection. After that I bought a DJ controller and started practicing to confirm if this was something I enjoyed doing and it’s been the biggest joy ever since.
