- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
All final prices are dependent upon the size and complexity of a project; however, some prices are flat. Please see below for the most common services: +Self-Publishing Packages starting at $1,000 and includes editing, proofreading, and book cover design. Other packages include book trailers, media kits, marketing, website design, ISBN, copyright, & more. Please visit our website for details. +Ghostwriting (minimum 5,000 words) .10 per word $100 per session (waivers available) Note: for children's books, please contact me directly for pricing as they are typically less than 5,000 words** +Article/ Blog Writing (maximum 3,000 words) As low as $75 per article (500 words); can be reduced with the yearly package Note: If you would like a blog longer than 3,000 words, please contact me directly for pricing** +Editing/Proofreading Editing starts at $300 per 10,000 words. Proofreading starts at $200 per 10,000 words. You will be charged a flat fee based on your word count. +Formatting Starting at $75 per platform/version. Price varies based on word count and number of photos. +Graphic Design Varies per project. Minimum charge of $50. +Website Development/Design $50 per hour. Minimum charge of $50 Please note that there will be a minimum charge of $100 for all projects in the form of a deposit which is refundable in the case of the inability to complete work. All projects under $250 will be required to be paid in full and service will be completed within 72 hours of payment (not including potential revisions). Every project allows for at least one (1) revisions per phase. Yes, I have a discount program for loyal customers and referrals! No refunds. Please note that there is a minimum $25 non-refundable travel fee if you wish to conduct business in person. Sorry, we do not go to private residences. In-person services must take place in an office, book store, or other public location.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
After the initial contact, we will then schedule a time to have a free 15-minute call about your project and exactly what you are looking for. If you have a straight forward request, you can also elect to just give me your requirements via email and I will send you a quote for the fee. Just let me know whichever is most convenient for you.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a Master's Degree and a Bachelor's Degree in Communication Studies with over 4 years of experience as a Marketing Specialist. Writing, editing, and marketing have become second nature.
