FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I charge an hourly rate. For new customers I require a deposit the first time we work together that goes towards their invoice.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I start with a complimentary phone call to find out exactly what services my client needs to update their wardrobe. For some of my clients I will edit their closets, which involves me going through my client's closet to figure out what to keep, what needs to be altered, and help coordinate outfits, and make a list of what items they truly need in order to “complete” their wardrobe. A closet edit is usually followed by personal shopping. I will either meet my client at stores and have pulled items for them or bring items to them. It will be items that we had discussed that they wanted and in their budget. I also make sure they can make multiple outfits. Some clients prefer we shop together. After my clients are happy with what has been purchased, I will create a virtual closet my client can recreate all the looks
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I went to school for Social Science. Taken those classes allowed me to understand people a little better. I also worked retail in college at the Gap, and then I worked in every department at Bloomingdale’s. I learned how to dress every type of body, and help clients feel and look good. I also feel I have a natural talent and love for putting items together.
