- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
My pricing system is not complicated; but it starts off at $5.00 per serving for fondant covered cakes and $4.00 per serving for buttercream finished cakes as a baseline price. Depending on the details of the cakes (figures, sugar flowers, sculpting, etc) the price of the cake can increase.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am constantly researching the latest trends in my industry and attending professional events to network with others in my field.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
When I got married, our cake designer made a cake that was so memorable that my husband and I couldn't wait for our anniversary so that we could defrost the cake. That memory and excitement is what I pour into every one of my creations.
