FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I offer a variety of packages and discounts depending upon the needs of my clients. I recognize that therapy can be expensive, and I try to meet my clients' needs. I do not accept insurance.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Typically, clients will call for an initial 15 minute phone consultation. This allows me to get a sense of what they're struggling with and whether I can be of assistance. The first session lasts for 45 minutes. With marriage and family counseling, at times 45 minutes doesn't suffice and in future sessions we'll meet for either 75 or 90 minutes.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I received my masters in clinical community counseling at Johns Hopkins University in Baltimore, MD. At that time, I completed my internship at a private day school. After moving to Atlanta, I began working in private practice at Trillium Springs in Marietta. Additionally, I offered counseling services at JF&CS in Dunwoody.
