FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Our fees are commensurate with our services. Since we specialize in DUIs and other criminal offenses, we offer exceptional services in this area. We are not "plea" attorneys who plead you out guilty without looking at all options. If motions and / trials are necessary, our fee structure accounts for this additional work.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
First, I gather all of the pertinent information from my client and give an initial assessment of what I believe will likely happen with the case. Once I receive other evidence and information, I analyze the police report, video, speak with witnesses, officers and prosecutors to determine the strengths and weaknesses of the case. I then sit down with the client to recommend a path forward, taking into account the client's concerns, history, and future implications. Regardless of the outcome, I try to ensure that my client is fully informed and has a clear understanding what his / her options are.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am a "Double Dog". I graduated with a finance degree from the University of Georgia and then received my law degree from UGA Law School. Since I started practicing law, I have only practiced criminal defense with a focus on DUI cases, as DUIs are some of the more complex and technical cases.
