Please note that I do not provide any alcohol for an event. With over thirty-seven years in the hospitality industry, I strive to not only meet but exceed my clients' expectations. Whether it's a small intimate gathering for 20 or a large wedding for 200, FTS Hospitality has you covered. We provide bartending, event servers, and host/hostesses (MCs) for your event. We take pride in delivering a Finely Tailored Service for your event. Please only serious inquiries as we are charged for leads regardless of the outcome. Please also be accurate in your guest count and hours of service. While we are happy to bring supplies for the bar service, we do not provide the alcohol.

FTS Hospitality brought big ice cubes, bitters, a cocktail menu, and glasses, which were all appreciated. One glass was broken by a guest, and I didn’t have to pay for it, which was also nice. Our parking situation is a little bit confusing (but didn’t cause issues for any of our many guests), and Shannon was very stressed about parking when she arrived. I was very busy and stressed about preparing for the party, and the parking fiasco got my night started off really badly. My husband had to park her car, and my dog was freaking out, and it was very stressful and chaotic. I was embarrassed for the rest of the night about how it went. I think it’s reasonable to expect a vendor to be able to park in a way like you expect the rest of your guests to park (not blocking all the spaces for someone else). Additionally, Shannon asked if I pre-made a cocktail when she was setting up, expecting that I had done so. She ended up making the cocktails, but I was super confused, and this also added to my pre-party stress. Before the party, via text, I thought she had asked me if it would be okay for her to batch make 1 of the cocktails. Apparently, she was asking me to do that in advance of the party, which was a bit frustrating because I wouldn’t need a bartender if I premade the cocktails. I only asked her to make 3 cocktails throughout the night, I prepared all the fresh juice & ingredients in advance, and I set up two separate self-service wine and beer bars that were unattended. I wasn’t going to leave a review because I recognize it’s a bit unfair to be so frustrated about the parking situation, but Shannon has asked me 3 times to leave a review over the course of 1.5 weeks via direct text, plus a request on Thumbtack.

Shannon was fantastic to work with. She was responsive, detail-oriented, and flexible. She took control of the bar setup and was willing to help in any other way she could. She was helpful in telling us what we needed to buy and what she could make to ensure we had a fun, and successful party.

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
My pricing is based on the number of hours to be worked, the number of guests at the event and other details of the event (i.e. travel, specific requests)
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I like to meet with my clients in person if possible prior to the event. I can either travel to their location or we can meet at a dedicated place. I like to take note of my clients expectations and what I can do to help make their event memorable. If it's not possible to meet in person a Zoom, Teams or telephone call is also an option.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have TIPS Certified and also certified to serve alcohol at event venues. I have over 35 years of experience having worked as a bartender, server, hostess and manager. I am also a trained public speaker and comfortable in social situations.
