- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Our professional service fee is based on the complexity of individual's situation. For a firm price, please inquire within Thumbtack or send us an email. Can't reach us by phone during tax season? Email is the best way to send your inquiry. We will get back to you in 24 hours!
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
1. We begin with a simple tax questionnaire that will help us identify your needs. 2. We set up a secure personal portal where you can upload your tax documents; 3. We briefly review your tax return's complexity and offer you a firm professional fee quote; 4. Deposit is paid; 5. If necessary, an Engagement letter and Power of Attorney forms are signed; 6. We will communicate by phone, email and/or our portal system to clarify information and/or answer your questions; 7. We complete the preparation and upload a preliminary draft copy of your tax forms for your review. At the same time, we will request your e-signature and payment of your service invoice; 8. Upon receiving approval and signature(s) from you, we e-file your tax return. The final copy of your tax return is uploaded to your secure portal for anytime access.
