FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
In this Industry, each driving lesson is 2 hours long. So the price would be $140 for each lesson.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Once we established phone contact, first I would inquire about the needs of the future student. It could be parents trying to develop safe driving habits for their teens or adults who have moved into the US and want to learn driving. Once their need is assessed I would plan out the driving schedule. I prefer at least the first 2 lessons on consecutive days. I will pick my student from their residence and drop them off at the resident. Drop off could be a different location, depending on the distance and my next class. For teens I should have parent's permission if the drop off is different from the pick up location.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am a certified driving training instructor from the Georgia Department of Driver Services. My driving school “Trusted Driving” is approved by the Georgia Department of Driver Services. As the teens are involved, the Georgia government wants to make sure they are in safe hands. All certified driving training instructors from the Georgia Department of Driver Services (DDS) have to pass rigorous criminal background check, figure printing and drug and alcohol tests. The DDS also inspect all vehicles used for driver training to make sure they meet the standard set by DDS. I have a Toyota Prius with a passenger side break that is required by DDS.
