I have over 25 years teaching wedding couples. I listen to your needs and design a dance that you are comfortable dancing. I think the 1st dance should be memorable and dancing in the moment as though no one else is around not just thinking about patterns. At the same time making the lessons fun and easy to understand. I also can trim the music length to two minutes give or take and also slow or speed up music if needed. I have recently moved to Georgia from California. I had a really specific type of swing dance I really wanted to learn (Lindy Hop), so I posted a request on Thumbtack. Kurt got back to me quickly with competitive prices, but unfortunately didn't offer lessons in that particular style (he teaches East Coast and West Coast Swing). Why the 5 star review? He got me in touch with people who could help! I appreciate the fact he went above and beyond instead of casting my request off, and didn't use any sales tactics to get me to give up on my quest and settle for his studio. Thanks, Kurt! Kurt Senser is an amazing instructor! He has transformed my dancing from all over the place and wobbly to precise and smooth. I've been taking private lessons with him for about 2 years now. I started out with Country 2 Step, then went to West Coast Swing and am now learning Night Club 2 Step. One of the things that has helped me so much in working with Kurt is that he can be technical in his teaching. This is what I needed. I need to know where my foot is now and where it needs to be. For those ladies who think they need a partner to take private dance lessons, don't do it! Go by yourself and/or let your partner take a separate lesson with Kurt. You will see amazing results! I carry Kurt's cards with me in my boot bag and tell everyone who compliments me on my improved dancing, who made it happen. Kurt has a great personality and no matter what your skill level, you will feel comfortable and look forward to your next dance lesson. I know I do!

I still compete to this day and attend dance conventions to stay current with the changing dance styles and patterns.
How did you get started doing this type of work?
I was acually in between jobs and I had taken private dance lessons, but that was getting too costly. I also felt that I was not learning as fast as I would like. I saw that a dance studio was hiring, so I thought I would work for them for a year and learn all I can and get paid for it, then quit. Here I am 20 years later.
