FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Pricing is based off of the complexity of the assignment. The more complex the assignment is the more we charge. Each assignment is different and unique.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
When a customer calls me for the first time I ask a series of questions. One of the most important aspects is the definition of the problem. In stating the problem, the assessor must: 1) Identify the properties to be appraised. 2) Identify the property rights to be appraised. 3) Provide a definition of the value to be estimated. 4) Define the purpose and intended use of the appraisal.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have been an appraiser since 2001. Each year we take new continuing education courses to update and hone our skills. It's also nice to have refresher courses as well.
