FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
There are no hidden fees in our pricing. All of the material needed for your job is priced into the original quote and it will not change even if more is needed than anticipated. The only way your contract amount will change is if you choose to add additional work that was not included in your original contract. We offer a discount for military and emergency workers such as law enforcement and firefighters. We typically fall somewhere in the middle with pricing compared to other companies. We are not the least expensive because we use quality materials but we are not the most expensive either because we strive to give you a price that is fair.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Our typical process is to first come out for on-site estimate. At that time we discuss options with the customer to make sure that we have a good feel for what their vision is for their home as well as provide consultation for colors etc. We typically write up the estimate and give it to the customer before we leave. We give detailed quotes so that the customer knows exactly what they're going to get. Upon being hired, as well as throughout the entire job, communication with the customer is essential. We will always keep them informed of where we are at in the project as well as what to expect and address any concerns or questions that may arise during the project immediately. We do a final walk-through with the customer at the end of the job to be 100% sure that it has been done to their complete satisfaction. After we leave, we Stand by our work and our warranty. Our customers often tell us that they are customers for life and call us back for all of their applicable home Improvement needs :-)
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have 20 years experience in this line of work. I have ample knowledge and experience in carpentry, sheetrock, exterior and interior painting, specialty finishes such as faux, cabinet painting, brick painting, decks, among many others. I have worked with insurance companies so I know how to submit your estimate in wording that will be accepted for your insurance claim (if applicable). I also have training in most all sherwin William's product specifications as well as Berh products and the appropriate application and warranty that they come with.
