FAQs
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I have always been mechanically inclined but after my career in the army, I got a job with a premier, national plumbing company where I worked my way up to a certified field trainer and supervisor. After many years doing this I felt I could offer the same exceptional service at a much lower cost.
- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Don't hire the cheapest guy. Good work isn't cheap and cheap work isn't good. Get multiple estimates and generally go with the middle estimate. Obviously use common sense when doing so. Don't throw your money away paying for a premium name company but don't hire a fly by night handyman either. You'll end up paying more later in the long run with cheap labor.
- What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?
1) Are you licensed & insured? 2)What kind of warranty or guarantee do you offer? 3) Do you offer senior/military discounts? 4) Do you offer free estimates? 5) How many years experience do you have?
