We were so excited to book a Professional Chef to prepare my husbands’ 60th birthday dinner and we were not disappointed. Chef Hugh was professional from 1st contact through Thumbtack, sending a text within 24 hours, and a phone conversation the next day. He sent several menu’s after asking about what type of meal we preferred. He and his wife Marsha arrived early to set up and they brought EVERYTHING except our dinnerware. They were both pleasant and engaging throughout the dinner, explaining the flavors of each dish and how they were made. They prepared a 5 course meal, starting with crabcakes with horseradish crème fraiche that was the best we’ve every had. Each following dish was better then the 1st. We had fresh mushroom risotto with herb oil(he forges his own mushrooms), then a fresh mixed green salad with berries. He prepared mouth-watering herb marinated filets, with lobster tail along with fresh green bean with red peppers. Chef kept reminding us to eat slowly as each course is a large portion, nothing skimpy here. The final course was lemon ricotta cheesecake with Grand Marnier and fresh berries. The meal was wonderful, made with high quality foods prepared with unique and amazing tastes. Our 6 guests can’t stop raving about the food and the wonderful time they had. We highly recommend Chef Hugh and Marsha for your next special event and even as a way to treat yourself. We will definitely use them again. 5-Stars

I am a travel agent and I booked this for one of my clients. Chef Hugh was not only so responsive but also always responded in a timely manner. My clients said the experience was AMAZING and some of the best food they’ve ever had in their life!! I highly recommend this company for any private chef experience! You will not be disappointed!!!

Chef Hugh and spouse Marsha were very punctual in their arrival and were very well prepared and professional. All courses of the 5 course meal met our expectations. The food was of good quality and flavorful. Hugh gave a pleasant description of each course and both he and Marsha were very aware of when not to be present so guests could enjoy the experience without unwanted intrusions. When they left, the kitchen was cleaner than when they arrived. You would not have know they were there. We would engage them again if in the area.

Hey what can I say Chef Hugh and his lovely assistant Wife are simply Amazing! I’m a repeat customer when I’m in his area!! My first experience was a very small intimate dinner party with some girlfriendz and should I say was the best girlfriendz experience ever!! 5 course meal we felt like royalty we didn’t do anything just sat there was served and told before each serving what our meals where how they were inspired and did I mention the taste of each cuisine-off the charts (lol). There was no set up by us - no breakdown and no dishes to tend to at the end it was all done by his lovely assistant -Wife - this is an experience you don’t want to miss tonight it will be a romantic date night💕💕

Hugh was a professional from our first correspondence. He picked 4 suggested menus for my group to choose and I swear none of them would have been a bad choice. Hugh and his wife Marsha arrived and were very friendly and informative and got things underway. Immediately every single course was better than the one before and not one single member of our party was disappointed in the least bit. We will definitely be using them again, and would highly recommend you using them for your private parties
