I had the absolute pleasure of working with Maxel and I honestly can’t recommend him enough! I reached out to him because I needed help setting up a template for my songs and getting my home studio set up just right for recording vocals. From the moment he walked in I knew I made the right choice. He was able to explain everything in a way that was so simple and easy to understand even a child could follow along. He really took the time to break things down in a way that clicked for me. What really stood out was how hands-on he was during the entire process. Not only did he guide me through setting everything up but he made sure I was fully involved in the process so I knew exactly how to do it on my own moving forward. He didn’t just give me a template and leave it was real training and I really appreciated that. It felt like I was getting both professional advice and personal coaching all in one. He knows his stuff no doubt about it. There wasn’t one thing he didn’t know how to handle. If any small errors came up he quickly found a workaround and made sure everything was running smoothly. Honestly he’s hands down the best engineer I’ve worked with when it comes to truly helping me understand how to get the best sound for my recordings. On top of all that he gave me the best recommendations for what plug-ins to use and equipment to get if I want to experience the best sound coming through. He made sure I was set up for success in the future and gave me all the tools I needed to get started without feeling overwhelmed. He was super responsive with every text and made sure I felt supported throughout the whole process. It’s rare to find someone who not only knows their craft but also genuinely cares about helping you learn. If you’re someone with a home studio looking to improve your sound or just understand your setup better I highly recommend him. He also offers one-on-one training sessions that dive deeper into mixing and mastering which is something I didn’t need at the moment but is definitely an awesome option for anyone looking to take their skills further. If you’re serious about improving your music setup he’s definitely the person you want to work with. I’m definitely using his services again in the future and I’d encourage anyone in the same boat to reach out. Appreciate everything I learned from our time together!

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Discounts come whenever client books over 3 hours. The more hours books, the lower the price per hour goes as well as the number of mixes requested.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I ask them about what style of music they're going for so I have an idea of what kind of mix they would like to have if requested. I may ask about their favorite artist and that may help me to know what kind of sound they're going for mainly for vocals.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I've been to 2 different school, visited/interned at over 10 different studios and I'm close to a few people in the industry as well and we've worked together.
