- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
As a Notary Public in the State of Florida, the Department of State provides a fee table of which I must abide by when performing different types of notarial acts. I follow these state regulations while still trying to provide a fair and honest price for my services. I do offer discounts to my customers, such as seniors citizens, students, and a pre-payment discount (pre-payment discounts are available for ancillary services ONLY).
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Once we connect through Thumbtack, we will: First, determine and confirm the types of documents needing notarization to ensure I am able to properly notarize them. Second, we will confirm a date, time, and location of where the notarization will take place. Third, I will provide you with a quote for the notarization along with any ancillary services, such as travel time/mileage, copying, scanning, and postage services if applicable. Once you approve the quote, we will meet at our confirmed time and location and complete the job! If for any reason the notarial act cannot be completed, the customer is still be responsible for any agreed upon costs for travel and ancillary services.
